Terms of Agreement


By being a member of Women Who Farm website you acknowledge that you are bound by the terms and conditions set forth herein. Women Who Farm have the right to cancel the User's membership to their Women Who Farm service without liability.

FEATURES AND NEW FEATURES. Women Who Farm provides users with access to a rich collection of online resources, including various communication tools, online forums, and personalized content through its network of properties (“the Service”). Unless explicitly stated otherwise, any new features that augment or enhance the current Service, including the release of new Women Who Farm products or properties, shall be incorporated into and subject to these Terms and Conditions. You understand and agree that the Service is provided “AS-IS” and that Women Who Farm assumes no responsibility for the timeliness, deletion, or mis-delivery of information, event information, third party information, or any other information.

Duration of Membership

Membership is an ongoing yearly or monthly membership which can be paid yearly or monthly.


Payment Terms

ACTIVATION. Women Who Farm may activate any new User upon receipt of necessary member information without requiring a written Service Request Form. 

BILLING. For all membership plans, User will be billed in advance of the months/year for which User receives Service. Members can be billed annually or monthly. In the event User's account is activated for a period of time which includes a fractional portion of a billing period (such as a month, for example), the User will still be charged for the entire billing period. The minimum contract period on month-to-month memberships is one month at a time. The minimum contract length on annual memberships is one year, and annual membership dues are non-refundable.

CREDIT/DEBIT CARDS. Generally Women Who Farm requires a valid credit card to maintain paid membership Service. User’s credit/debit card will be automatically charged at the time of billing. 

ALTERNATIVE BILLING. Members who do not have a valid credit/debit card or do not wish to pay by credit/debit card may pay for Annual Pre-Paid Memberships only by cheque or money order. Members who wish to pay by cheque may be charged an additional administrative fee. A late fee may be applied to all dues not paid to Women Who Farm in a timely manner. If any payment or deposit is not received by its due date, Women Who Farm at its sole discretion, may temporarily suspend Service to User until payment is completed. Further details of Alternative (Cheque) Billing will be provided to interested parties. 

RENEWABLE MEMBERSHIP. All Women Who Farm memberships renew automatically. Memberships automatically renew at current Women Who Farm membership rates upon the end of each term, unless Women Who Farm is notified to cancel by User using our Contact Us feature on the website before the end of the member term. Women Who Farm will provide written notice via email prior to automatic renewal though we cannot guarantee receipt of said message by User.

RENEWABLE 12-PAYMENT ANNUAL PLAN MEMBERSHIP. Members choosing the 12-Payment Annual Plan enter into a one-year contract. Membership renews at the start of the next year of membership and another 12-month commitment commences (unless User terminates the membership). Termination - Member can give 30 days notice to cancel membership at anytime.


RENEWABLE ONE PAYMENT ANNUAL PLAN MEMBERSHIP. Members choosing the One-Payment Annual Plan enter into a one-year contract. Membership renews at the start of the next year of membership and another 12-month commitment commences (unless User terminates the membership). Termination - Member has 30 days after renewal to cancel membership and receive a full refund.

TAXES AND SURCHARGES. User acknowledges that many governmental bodies can and do impose taxes on the use of the Service. In addition, User acknowledges that the providers of the Service are subject to various governmental regulatory mandates, compliance with which can and does result in surcharges to User. User acknowledges that User is responsible for all such taxes and surcharges in addition to and on top of any other charges described herein. Taxes and surcharges will be clearly marked as separate items on any bill sent to User. 


The Women Who Farm team regularly communicates with its Members, by email, post and telephone. We aim to approach Members with information that is of interest to them. This is an integral part of Membership and by entering into Membership you agree to be contacted by Women Who Farm. This regular communication can be terminated by the Member. Also, from time to time, Members may be contacted by the Women Who Farm team to make them aware of certain Membership benefits.

Women Who Farm Services

Should membership come to an end for any reason the ex-member will immediately forfeit all rights to access the Women Who Farm services and benefits. Any advice sought following termination of membership will be charged accordingly. Also, Women Who Farm shall notify other service providers and any ex-members will be excluded from their beneficial rates upon renewal.

Women Who Farm Logos

Women Who Farm welcomes the member to use the Women Who Farm logos on their website, stationery, social media and other promotional materials. If the Membership comes to an end the ex-member must discontinue the use of the Women Who Farm logos.


All photos submitted to Women Who Farm are submitted with the understanding that Women Who Farm gains the right to use the image on the Internet, on any of Women Who Farm websites, as well as for informational or advertising/marketing or promotional materials of any kind. By submitting a photo to Women Who Farm, you hereby grant Women Who Farm the non-exclusive royalty-free irrevocable rights, in its sole discretion, to use, reproduce, copy, publish, display, distribute, perform, translate, adapt, modify, and otherwise exploit the image(s) (in whole or in part) and to incorporate the image(s) in other works in all any and all markets and media, whether now known or hereafter developed, throughout the universe into perpetuity. You hereby grant any other user of the site to access, view, store, or reproduce the image(s) for that user's personal use; you waive your rights to attribution, integrity, or any other legal or moral right in the image(s) in connection with its (their) use by Women Who Farm you agree to allow use of your name in Women Who Farm publicity or advertising without compensation.


Website Restrictions on Use

You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any portion of the Services, use of the Services, or access to the Services without our express written consent. The look and feel of the Site and our Services. You many not duplicate, copy or reuse any portion of the visual design elements without our express written consent. All rights reserved.

You may use the Site only for the purposes expressly permitted by the Site. You may not use the Site for any other purpose, including any other commercial purpose, without Women Who Farm’s express prior written consent. For example, you may not (and may not authorize any other party to) co-brand the Site or frame the Site without the express prior written permission of an authorized representative of Women Who Farm.


The Service may provide, or third parties may provide, links to other World Wide Web sites or resources. Because Women Who Farm has no control over such sites and resources, you acknowledge and agree that Women Who Farm is not responsible for the availability of such external sites or resources, and does not endorse and is not responsible or liable for any Content, advertising, products, or other materials on or available from such sites or resources. You further acknowledge and agree that Women Who Farm shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use or reliance on any such Content, goods, or services available on or through any such site or resource.


Modification & Termination of these Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated Terms and will note the date it was last revised. When you use the Site after those updates are posted, you are deemed to accept and agree to be bound by those changes. These terms will continue to apply until terminated by either you or Women Who Farm, who may do so by cancelling Your Account on the Site.

We may terminate these Terms, terminate your access to all or part of the Site or our Services, or suspend any user’s access to all or part of the Site or our Services, at any time, without notice to you, if we believe, in our sole judgement, that you have breached or may breach any term or condition of these Term, if we believe it is required by law, or otherwise.

If we terminate your service, or you terminate the service, you will not be entitled to any refund of any sum you have paid us, and we may delete any User Material or other materials relating to your use of the Site and/or our Services on Company’s servers or otherwise in its possession. You acknowledge that Company shall not be liable to you or any third party for any termination of your access to the Site and/or our Services.

You agree that termination will not relieve you of any obligation to pay any accrued charges. You shall be charged the full amount of the fee for the month in which our Services were terminated. All sections which by their nature should survive the expiration or termination of these Terms shall continue in full force and effect subsequent to and notwithstanding the expiration or termination of this agreement.


Liability                                                                             Women Who Farm shall have no liability for any losses suffered by a member as a result of using services offered by a fellow member. Women Who Farm shall have no responsibility for advice given or services provided by its third party service providers.


United States Only

All materials on the Site are provided solely for the purpose of promoting our operations and products in the United States and its territories. We make no representation that the products and services on the Site are appropriate or available for use in other locations. If, despite these conditions, you use the Site or our Services from outside the United States, you are solely responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws.



You agree that Company shall not be responsible or liable for any loss or damage of any sort incurred as the result of your use of the Site or our Services. You hereby release Company, its officers, employees, agents and successors in rights from claims, demands and damages (actual and consequential) of every kind or nature, known or unknown, suspected and unsuspected, disclosed and undisclosed, arising out of or in any way related to our Site or our Services. If you are a California resident, you waive California Civil Code Section 1542, which says: "A general release does not extend to claims which the creditor does not know or suspect to exist in his favor at the time of executing the release, which, if known by him must have materially affected his settlement with the debtor."
